In the world of Northeast dirt Modified, Brett Hearn may be the greatest of all time. In a career that began in 1975, Hearn has amassed more than 900 victories across the Modified (572), Small-Block Modified (342) and Sprint Car (2) categories, along with 94 track and series championships, winning at 50 tracks in 11 states and two Canadian provinces. The Kinnelon, New Jersey native holds a record-setting 12 DIRTcar championships and is a six-time winner of DIRTcar’s classic event on the Syracuse Mile. He holds a combined 37 season Modified titles at New York’s Orange County Fair, Lebanon Valley and Albany-Saratoga Speedways. In 2013, Area Auto Racing News’ ranked Hearn #1 on its list of greatest Northeast drivers of the past 50 years. With brother Bobby, Hearn developed the TEO Pro Car chassis, which has scored hundreds of Modified wins since 1987. Hearn is a four-time Eastern Motorsports Press Association Driver of the Year (1986, 2002, 2007, 2012) and the 1993 Champion Spark Plug DIRT Motorsports Driver of the Year.
