As a recognized network brand that originated the automotive lifestyle genre in the 1990s, Speedvision returns this year with more than 500 hours of exclusive and audience-favorite vehicle programming. Speedvision delivers a signature combination of highly-entertaining storytelling, iconic hosts, and premier production values, making it the preeminent destination for auto-passionate viewers.
"Speedvision is back and we are delighted to have them join Toyota Racing and so many other outstanding organizations and companies as sponsors of our 35th Induction Ceremony," said MSHFA President George Levy. "It is our mission to preserve the history of all facets of motorsports and Speedvision is already established as one of the broadcast pillars in all of racing. For a time in the 1990s and earlier this century, Speedvision was 'must-watch' television every weekend and home to more than one major motorsports series. It is fantastic to see this great brand and its vast high-performance content resurrected."
A perfect fit for the MSHFA, which is the Hall of Fame for all motorsports, Speedvision is the ultimate destination for the absolute best in automotive, motorcycle, aviation and boating content. Speedvision also boasts a roster of well-known talent and experts, including Wayne Carini, Bill Goldberg, Mark Worman, Stacy David, Ant Anstead and 2023 Motorsports Hall of Fame of America Stock Cars Inductee Ray Evernham
Fittingly, Evernham's popular "AmeriCarna" series premieres on Speedvision on Thursday, March 9, just two days after he and the rest of the MSHFA's Class of 2023 are ushered into the Hall.
In addition to Evernham, the MSHFA Class of 2023 includes the Father of the Corvette and Corvette racing Zora Arkus-Duntov
(Sports Cars), national champion driver and trailblazing USAC official Henry Banks (Historic), America’s most successful enduro rider, Dick Burleson (Motorcycles), air racing superstar Art Chester (Aviation), early NASCAR fan favorite Fonty Flock (Historic), one of the NHRA’s 50 Greatest All-Time Drivers, Darrell Gwynn (Drag Racing), prolific land speed record-setter Ab Jenkins (Speed Records) and two men who revolutionized racetrack emergency services, saving countless lives and careers, Drs. Stephen Olvey and Terry Trammell (Open Wheel).
The MSHFA is housed in Daytona International Speedway's Ticket & Tours Building located in front of the famed 2.5-mile DIS tri-oval. Access to the MSFHA museum is included with every Daytona International Speedway tour, which run throughout each day, or as a museum-only ticket. The museum is open daily 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. nearly year-round except major holidays. It is visited by more than 100,000 guests each year from every state in America and countries all over the world.
