DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (July 10, 2024) – The Motorsports Hall of Fame of America’s latest blockbuster fundraising auction, featuring a rare opportunity for a behind-the-scenes and full-immersion experience of Team Penske at their North Carolina facility, is now live on BringaTrailer.com. The top bidder of this truly priceless package and five guests receive a private two-hour “Behind the Scenes VIP Tour,” showcasing Team Penske's NASCAR, IndyCar and IMSA race teams, as well as "Driver Meet & Greets" with two Team Penske drivers.

The Team Penske experience auction is available exclusively on automotive auction industry leader Bring a Trailer (BaT) from now through the next five days. Click on https://bringatrailer.com to register on BaT and bid directly on this rare and one-of-a-kind opportunity.

The winning bid for this no-reserve auction, including the BaT buyer’s fee, will be donated to the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America (MSHFA), which is operated by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation. The MSHFA's mission is to honor its “Heroes of Horsepower” inductees and their winning American motorsports accomplishments and to preserve their legacies for generations to come.

Roger Penske, the Founder and Chairman of Penske Corporation, who also established Team Penske that is in its 58th season in 2024, is a 1995 MSHFA Inductee.

The Team Penske experience follows a one-on-one luncheon and GM Global Tech Center tour with GM President Mark Reuss that was on the block earlier this year as the first two major auction fundraising initiatives the MSHFA has introduced in 2024 with the kind support of the top organizations and corporations in the motorsports and automotive industries.

“We are extremely grateful to Roger and everyone at Team Penske for making this amazing experience at Team Penske available to one lucky group that will truly have an experience of their lifetimes," said MSHFA President George Levy. “We are also deeply appreciative of the generous support of Bring a Trailer as well as Mark Reuss and everyone at GM who didn't hesitate to support our successful initial auction this past spring. It is an honor and even humbling to know that industry leaders such as Roger Penske and Team Penske, and Mark Reuss and GM, share in our passion and mission of preserving the great legacy of American motorsports for generations to come."

Team Penske is one of the most successful teams in the history of professional sports and a premier team in American motorsports and beyond. The team competes this year in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, the NASCAR Cup Series and, through a Team Penske global partnership, with Porsche Penske Motorsport in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the World Endurance Championship. In 2024 alone, Team Penske has won a record extending 20th Indianapolis 500, the IMSA season-opening Rolex 24 At Daytona and three NASCAR Cup Series races.

Competing in a variety of disciplines over the last few decades, cars owned and prepared by Team Penske have produced through last month more than 630 major race wins and over 690 pole positions and 44 championships. In addition to the 20 Indy 500 victories, the team has won three Daytona 500 Championships, a Formula 1 win, overall victories in the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring and a win in Australia’s legendary Bathurst 1000 race.

Each guest will receive a goody bag with Team Penske memorabilia while the winning bidder also receives additional items signed by various Team Penske drivers, including crew shirts, diecast models, official photos and autographed "hero cards." Just some of the winner's gifts, which all have Certificates of Authenticity, are a pair of NASCAR Mustang 1/24 scale diecasts and Advance Auto Parts and Menard's Team Penske crew shirts and much more.

The Team Penske auction winner can book the experience in any month, excluding November, December, and national holidays. Please review the auction listing on BaT for additional information, auction details and the complete list of collectibles and Team Penske keepsakes to date the winning bidder will receive.

Established in the late 1980s, the MSHFA held its 36th Annual Induction Celebration presented by Toyota Racing in March not far from Daytona International Speedway (DIS) where the MSHFA Museum is housed just outside of the NASCAR Turn 4 tunnel on International Speedway Blvd. (ISB) in the DIS Ticket & Tours building. The MSHFA Museum greets more than 150,000 visitors each year. As a nonprofit foundation, the MSHFA is largely dependent on donations – which are typically tax-free – from individuals and organizations for its annual operating budget.

Ciancio and led by first President Ronald A. Watson, it held its first induction in 1989. Watson spent the next 30 years tirelessly building it into the nation’s premier such hall until his passing in 2019. Originally based in Novi, Mich., it relocated to Daytona Beach, Fla., in 2016 and greets close to 150,000 guests a year in its museum. MSHFA is operated by the nonprofit Motorsports Museum and Hall of Fame of America Foundation, Inc.
